Case Managers

William  Kaminawash – Case Manager

William is Oji-Cree and comes from a remote community in northern Ontario.  He is fluent in Oji-Cree.  His extensive experience working in the community has led him to embrace the Client-Centered Model, which reflects similarities to his native cultural beliefs.  William studied in the Drug and Alcohol Counsellor Program at Northern College, and has worked for several years providing addiction counseling and outreach services to indigenous communities throughout Southern Ontario.  He is a well-respected advocate for improving the quality of care by connecting others to the appropriate resources in the Toronto area.  William is also a visual artist.

Tricia Manning – Case Manager

Tricia is a counselor in the addictions field, where she has experience in withdrawal management and youth addictions.  She studied psychology at the University of Windsor, where she earned a B.A.  Having a combination of knowledge and skills from more than one discipline allows her to connect the different elements of counseling.  For most of her career she has been able to explore and embrace First Nations Cultures.  Tricia is passionate about supporting clients in the areas of personal growth and with life changes. She remains active in the community by providing dance classes for youth and adults.

Lynn Pincoe - Case Manager

Lynn is from Oakville Ontario, and has an Addiction Education Diploma from McMaster University.  She has training in Substance Use & Abuse, Concurrent Disorders, Solution Focused Approaches, Motivational Interviewing, Brief Solution focused counseling, Pharmacology, Assessment and Treatment of Addictions, and Women and Addictions.  She is fully trained and certified to administer and assess clinical screening tools for addictions.  Lynn has worked with young offenders in the diversion program with substance abuse issues, and has also volunteered in Oakville and Burlington with a mandated treatment group set up with Corrections Canada and Probation and Parole.

John Waites – Case Manager

John is a Certified Addictions Counselor and has assisted both youth and adults, working extensively throughout the southern Ontario region as a counselor and a   mentor.  He is aware of and sensitive to the ever-increasing research and information regarding mental health issues and substance abuse.  John works from a client-centered approach, supporting and meeting with those who wish to find the resources in their community and helping them while they are in transition.  He strives to help clients feel safe and cared for while supporting them in developing expanding support networks.
